20 TOSA EAST GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY 25
Welcome to week 7
As we move into October, we have a lot to look forward to as we enter the second half of the season.
It’s always a great time to look back and reflect on where we have been (which has been awesome!), make plans for the rest of the season, but stay firmly planted in the present (it’s a gift) with more work still to be done! Control the things you can control (looking at you, sleep), support everyone’s journey, be a part of something truly special, and run some incredible races!
Next up is our Pink-Out at the Arrowhead Invite. We proudly participate in our Pink-Out as a powerful way to run for those we care about who have been impacted by cancer. This is our opportunity to honor them and celebrate their strength and spirit! We also welcome the Longfellow XC team to join us, which is always a fun experience for us and them!
The Tosa East girls' cross country team traveled to Manitowoc for the Len Nikolai Invite on Saturday and brought home two team titles. We are extremely proud of all the efforts the team put forth on Saturday! MEET RESULTS
Leading the charge was the #7 D1-ranked varsity team, who won with a low score of 51 points, 43 better than runner-up #13 Brookfield East, and also beating 3rd-place Oshkosh West and 4th-place #15 Green Bay Preble.
